According to ESO Guide:
There are going to be five crafting professions in ESO:
Armorsmith – Creates light, heavy and medium armor of all types.
Weaponsmith – Creates various types of weapons.
Provisioner – Creates various types of food and drink items.
Alchemist – Creates potions of all types.
Enchanter – Creates glyphs, staffs and jewelry of all types. Glyphs are enchantments that go on items.
Thing is, there’s also Woodworking, used to make Staffs and other wooden weapons.
It will only be possible to master two crafting professions per character.
To begin crafting, you will need to be next to the applicable working area for your profession. Weaponsmiths and Armorsmiths will need an anvil, for example, while Provisioners will need a campfire and Alchemists will need a laboratory. “E” opens up the crafting interface which lets you begin crafting.
There are no crafting recipes or schematics to learn in ESO. Instead, players will have to experiment with multiple ingredients and see what they come up with.
When crafting, there will be three slots when combining items: primary ingredient, secondary ingredient and additives. Additives are not required to craft an item, but adding some can change the item’s property and give it an extra bonus. Different combinations of additives will grant different results. Experimentation will be key.
There will be a step-by-step guideline of how to craft in other posts.
