This is a quick and easy SWAG BAG info tab.

SWAG BAGS happen in my guilds twice a year, once for Christmas, and once for Christmas in July.

Here’s my copied and pasted spiel about it:

SWAG BAGS:. The concept is simple. I am leaving the raffle prizes this week up to you, our members. Our guilds would not be what they are without you, so for *EVENT DATE* I’m leaving the presents up to you!

If you would like to donate a SWAG BAG, mail me the package information and prizes. I would like all SWAG BAGS to be worth over 50,000 gold. You may donate whatever you would like as long as it meets that one qualification.

I will keep the contents of the SWAG BAGS secret until the raffle starts on Sunday, then I will reveal which member donated the SWAG BAG and what the SWAG BAG contains! The winners will be chosen in the usual manner!!!

Last time we did this we had over 100 prizes, so be prepared for amazingness all around! It will be the last week/raffle of the month.

It is a MASSIVE raffle, so it takes days to go through the prizes and winners. Please be patient with it and me.

DO AND DON’T

• DO – send your SWAG BAG only to me, on any of my accts ( acsquared, accubed, acthefourth or actothefifthpower )
• DO – Number the subject line of your mail – “SWAG BAG 1/3, SWAG BAG 2/3” etc
• DO – Itemize your mails and include the value – type out the name of the item(s) attached to the mail, the quantity if it’s more than one of each item and include the total value of the item.
•  DO – contact me before sending if you have a SWAG BAG that will be, say, 30 mails. We may need to coordinate that so I’m online when you send it.
• DO – contact me if you want to participate but don’t have 50,000 gold worth of goodies. We join packages together when needed, so you can have a SWAG BAG with someone else.

 

• DON’T – deposit your SWAG BAG into the guild bank. We will have no clue what it’s for
• DON’T send me a bunch of mails asking if I got this or that if you don’t hear back from me right away. My mail box gets insane this time of year. Have no fear, you’ll get a receipt!
• DON’T – complain if someone wins more than once. It happens every year. There are a lot of SWAG BAGS and the winning numbers are rolled using random.org. If you don’t like it, complain to them, not me.

Important note from Kitten:  IGNH’ers: DO be aware that the Swag Bags are NOT the Grab Bag of Dooom. Grab Bag =/= Swag Bag. If you send me stuff for grab bag I use it for grab bag. Because grab bag donations help me out SO MUCH! <3
