Hola everyone. I have spent the past week fighting with ZOS. On Sunday, November 29th at about 7:30 pm EST, I was getting ready to start our weekly trivia. I was transferring items (our prizes and whatnot) from one of our guild banks to another.

I had a partial rollback in the server and was kicked offline.

I know this is what happened because some mails for people buying raffle tickets magically appeared back in my inbox.

But guess what, all the items in my inventory were gone except three, two maps and a bound item that came in the Black Fredas shopping deal.

Here are some screenshots of what disappeared.

This is where I was when the items disappeared. I was depositing in another guild bank, and was up to here in the rp clothes:

So, ALL the motifs disappeared. There were blues that disappeared too, but that’s not so important.

I instantly contacted ZOS through in game and the website. After sending them screenshots they decided I needed to speak to a specialist. This person would get back to me “as soon as possible”.

That “as soon as possible” was last night.

Here’s what they said:

I was switching items from one of my guild banks to another, sorting my raffle prizes for [Incident: 151129-003192]‏

Guess what, I didn’t have any recipes disappear, it was all motifs. 4 of them alone was worth the 250K in gold they sent us as a replacement. When I replied with that information, this is what I was told:

Hello!

The pictures you sent were reviewed and marked with the items that were withdrawn through our database.  These do not show as being withdrawn.  We do not have the ability to replace these items.  We have provided 250,000g to repurchase any items that were not replaced.  This currency should allow you the ability to replace any items that were not sent back to you.

I should add, in order to do the raffle I had to rebuy ALL of our prizes last week, and will have to again this week. That cost me over 500K in gold. One of our officers also rushed in and spend over 1 MILLION GOLD rebuying the glass fragments and restorative resin to replace the grand prize last week.

I am disgusted. We worked hard and saved up and so many of you donated, and all that was gone in a second. And ZOS decides to “fix” it by sending us a few recipes and 250K.

So, here’s the deal, if this isn’t fixed in a more satisfactory manner, I am out. I will stop running the guilds and be done with ESO.

I like the game, love my guilds and all of you, but to have all my hard work disappear in an instant, and have ZOS just not care, it hurts.

I have been a paying subscriber since beta. TAH is literally the oldest guild in the game that I know of, with a founded date of 3/30/14. TSR has a founded date of 4/1/14, also making it one of the oldest guilds in the game.

In all this time, I have never complained about bugs or glitches or insanely long load times. I have just played and had fun and ran my guilds. Well that’s done.

If you want The Auction House and The Silk Road and The Meat Market and Sex Sells to continue the way they have been, if you want the raffles and auctions and trivia and fun guild events to continue, please contact ZOS customer service. YOU donated to get these items that disappeared, it certainly wasn’t all me.

But I will no longer be putting in any effort at all if it all disappears in a second and is replaced with less than 1/10th of its value after 6 days.

Screw that.
